With its founding in 1990, Austin Air Systems addressed a health concern that had previously been neglected: the harm caused by unclean air. Austin Air melds medical solutions with domestic life, creating healthier living environments for its consumers. We created a video based social media campaign for Austin Air, centering on the tagline “care starts with clean air.”
Our primary challenge with this project was positioning the product as a health and wellness item, as opposed to merely a comfort. Many people don't think about the quality of the air in their home or workplace, or of the detriments or benefits it can have on their health. However, each product in Austin Air’s lineup has associated health benefits, such as decreased allergies and asthma attacks, eased headaches and nausea, and strengthened immune systems. Clean air can benefit anyone, something we conveyed in our video script with three main points:
